BISDAK is an endearing term for a Cebuano.
BISayang DAKo means true Bisaya. Bisaya is the dialect spoken in Cebu and neighboring cities and provinces in Central Visayas, Philippines. BISDAK is more associated with Cebuanos than with any other Bisaya speaking group in the Philippines.
There is no other group in the Philippines who lobbies and is not ashamed to use the Bisaya dialect. Cebuanos prefer Bisaya over any other dialects spoken in the country.
